Katy Webber

Katy is an experienced counsellor who works with a broad range of psychological, emotional and life difficulties. She is warm and down-to-earth, and takes time to understand each person and what has brought them to therapy. Katy is comfortable sitting with the harder parts of people’s stories, without judgement or pressure, while also helping them find steadier ground. Her approach is practical and collaborative, with therapy moving at a pace that feels manageable. She helps clients understand what is happening for them and recognise that change is possible.

Katy works flexibly, drawing on different therapeutic approaches according to what each person needs. She helps clients make sense of what they are experiencing, understand patterns that may be keeping them stuck, and find practical ways to respond differently. Therapy may focus on what is happening now or, when useful, explore longer-standing experiences and patterns. Katy has extensive experience working with clients through ACC Sensitive Claims.
