Hazel-Jeanne Van Zyl

I am passionate about the capacity for counselling and therapy to support meaningful and lasting change. I believe that, with the right support, individuals can develop a deeper understanding of themselves, build resilience, and create lives that feel more balanced, connected, and fulfilling.

I work as a relational, person-centred therapist, placing strong emphasis on creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space. Building a genuine therapeutic relationship is central to my work, as it provides the foundation for clients to explore their experiences, develop insight, and foster change. I work flexibly and collaboratively, integrating both skills-based and relational approaches, and supporting clients to be actively involved in shaping the direction of therapy.

I am an ACC-registered provider for Sensitive Claims, Training for Independence, and Pain Management, and I also work with clients in private practice.
