Winnie Chiu

Winnie is an experienced Psychologist with diverse experience working in GP clinics, behaviour support services, disability services, and parent training and support services. Winnie's therapy style is characterised by empathy, collaboration, and a touch of light-heartedness, creating a comfortable therapeutic environment.

Specialising in evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Winnie tailors her approach to each individual's unique needs. She works closely with her clients to understand their specific challenges, enabling her to develop personalised treatment plans that address issues related to depression, anxiety, stress, and anger.

Additionally, Winnie has expertise in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), which allows her to effectively address concerns related to ADHD, Autism, and Intellectual disability.

Winnie's primary goal is to help her clients gain improved insight into their experiences and provide them with practical tools, strategies, and skills to navigate life's challenges. Through therapy, she guides individuals towards personal growth, empowering them to make positive changes and achieve a greater sense of well-being.
