Jessie Hackford

Jessie Hackford is a Registered Psychologist with more than 10 years’ experience across private practice, rehabilitation, hospital, and community settings in New Zealand and Australia. She works with adults experiencing trauma, including PTSD and complex PTSD, as well as anxiety, depression, chronic stress, and adjustment difficulties following injury or major life changes.

Jessie’s approach is calm, collaborative, and non-judgmental. She aims to create a safe and supportive space where clients can better understand their experiences, how these are affecting them in the present, and develop practical ways to move toward recovery and meaningful change.

She uses evidence-based therapies including EMDR, CBT, ACT, DBT, and compassion-focused therapy, tailoring treatment to each person’s individual needs and goals. Jessie also has extensive experience supporting clients under ACC Sensitive Claims and Psychological Services contracts
