Brittany Nicholson

Initially training in counselling, I moved into the justice space working in prisons and community early in my career. I was in this space for a number of years doing a mixture of psycho-education and therapeutic work with both individuals and groups of people before entering private practice to give me more work/life balance. I believe counselling is not a one size fits all and use a mixture of psycho education and reflective questioning (CBT, DBT, ACT and person centered modalities) to help clients gain more self awareness and understanding before offering some skills and tools that may be helpful in moving away from unhelpful thinking and behaviours.
