Alex Bajac

Alex is a Senior Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience working with children, young people and their families. She has worked at the Regional Youth Forensic Service (RYFS) at Auckland District Health Board where she provided forensic assessments regarding mental health, intellectual functioning, risk assessment, fitness to stand trial and rehabilitation options. She also provided evidence based therapeutic interventions for a range of presenting problems. Alex has a down to earth approach that is collaborative, practical and creative. She works from her heart, in a compassionate manner to help empower you to achieve meaningful change and overcome personal challenges. It takes courage to reach out for support, Alex will draw on your existing strengths, values and resources to see you through.

  • Post-graduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology (Massey University, Auckland)
  • Master of Arts, Honours in Psychology (Massey University, Auckland)
  • Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Sociology (Victoria University, Wellington)
Affiliations
  • Registered Clinical Psychologist with the New Zealand Psychologists Board under the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003
  • ACC registered for sensitive claims
