Sandra Frakes

With over 30 years of experience in Education and psychology, I have worked extensively with at-risk youth, adults, and families, supporting them through a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges. My practice integrates evidence-based approaches, including CBT, ACT, EMDR, Trauma-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness. I specialize in psychoeducation and therapeutic support for issues such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, stress, trauma, conflict resolution, and neurodiversity. My work is grounded in compassion, cultural responsiveness, and a strengths-based framework, helping individuals build resilience and develop practical tools for everyday life. Whether working one-on-one or with families, I tailor interventions to meet each person’s unique needs and circumstances. I am passionate about empowering people to reconnect with their strengths, navigate adversity, and achieve sustainable emotional well-being.
